For photography and video, this camera lens is best evaluated by focal length, aperture and mount compatibility with your camera system.

The Viltrox 9mm F2.8 XF-Mount APS-C Lens is an ultra-wide-angle prime lens designed for photographers and videographers using Fujifilm X-mount mirrorless cameras. With its expansive field of view and compact design, this lens is ideal for capturing landscapes, architecture, interiors, street scenes, vlogs, and creative wide-angle perspectives.

Featuring a 9mm focal length (equivalent to approximately 13.5mm in full-frame terms), this lens allows you to capture more of the scene in a single frame"perfect for dramatic compositions and immersive storytelling. The bright F2.8 aperture enables shooting in low-light conditions while also providing better subject separation and creative depth control compared to slower ultra-wide lenses.

The lens is equipped with a fast and accurate autofocus system, ensuring smooth and reliable focusing for both photography and video recording. Full electronic communication with Fujifilm X-mount cameras allows support for autofocus, auto exposure, and EXIF data transmission, delivering a seamless shooting experience.

Optically, the Viltrox 9mm F2.8 is constructed with high-quality glass elements designed to minimize distortion, chromatic aberration, and edge softness"common challenges with ultra-wide lenses. The result is sharp, high-contrast images with accurate color reproduction from center to edge.

Despite its robust optical performance, the lens remains compact and lightweight, making it an excellent choice for travel, handheld shooting, and gimbal setups. The durable metal mount ensures long-term reliability, while the minimalist design complements Fujifilm X-series camera bodies.

Compatible with a wide range of Fujifilm cameras including X-E4, X-E5, X-H1, X-Pro3, X-S10, X-T4, X-T30, X-T30 II, X-T200, X-H2, X-H2S, X-T5, X-S20, X-T50, and X-M5, the Viltrox 9mm F2.8 XF Lens is a versatile and affordable ultra-wide option for creators looking to expand their creative possibilities.
